I see why you had LeBron say that, but if we're being honest; the context of how it's asked is always different with LeBron. With MJ and Kobe it was a straight forward question that got a straight forward answer, more or less. With LeBron, every question is loaded and strategic which is why he has to steer his answers a certain way. LeBron's career was way more under the microscope and way more scrutinized compared to the two that came before him, quite frankly BECAUSE of those two that came before him. If LeBron said that, he was probably thinking, "ok is this statement genuine, is it sarcastic, is it some form of quasi-Jordan-comparison set up, or are they just looking for a narrative to run with? I'll just give an answer that checks every box, sheesh." The media has up'd their game with the times too, since the Jordan era. Which is why LeBron may seem like he's being cocky at times, when really he's just playing the media's game. Even if he was being cocky, he's LEBRON JAMES, he deserves to say that even if some disagree with him. 🤷🏿‍♂️
