This shit feels way more epic and cinematic than it does now. It's all about the presentation. The NBA on NBC was the best.

It was really good times to be sure. What a great era in sports! The Bulls ruled the NBA in the 1990s to be sure. I thought the Rose Era Bulls would bring another championship era, possibly putting Chicago in the same franchise echelon as the Lakers and Celtics (who really, are the only 2 NBA teams to hold dynasties in more than one era) and have another era of dominance. I could have really seen a team with LeBron, Rose, and Davis... Wow. 2-4 more titles.

Space Jam introduced me to basketball and Jordan. Then to later find out it the baseball thing was true and he came back to win 6 championships. He never lost a finals. It's like losing wasn't an option. He showed that this series battling a flu in the biggest game of the series. I can't believe this dude never lost a finals.

Look at the teams that Michael fought in the way to his 6 championships: NY, Indiana, Charlotte, Atlanta even in those times Miami had a good team to fight with Chicago, but in that team the Eastern Conference was much better than the Western Conference. Even LeBron with help couldnt match Dirk and the Mavs, the Eastern Conference level have down since Boston's Big Three age take away their stamina.
