I was inside on turn 4 with the photographers until I got booted back. What an experience, I still have all the photos I took from this day and shared them with my boys today some 24 years later. Awesome to be there, what a great memory. I had no idea this was available to watch here on youtube.

Man I think I went to that race as a kid. It was my first IRL race. I went to several more at PPIR before it closed. I miss IRL at PPIR.

@Quintinohthree i agree, i dont think 25 would work either, that was an eggsaduration. yes i also know i spelled that wrong. but still, laguna seca and road america? needs to be added back to the schedule

@crazyful123 Laguna Seca for Infineon, yes please! Road America, doubt it will happen too but sure am hoping.

Foyt owned the would-be winning car, Arie protested in Victory Lane and AJ didn't much appreciate that!
@Rummenigge1113 жыл бұрын
why did Foyt punch Arie?
@PnwOnTour4 жыл бұрын
I believe his car was supposed to win in his opinion, Arie had some comments on the poorly called race so AJ slapped him 👋🏼

Instead of Pocono or Autoclub, Indycar should use small ovals like this. Good races and more safety.
@SwineBrothers6 жыл бұрын
not more safety. you can get hurt on mile tracks. the two tracks you mentioned are fine for indycars, it's the 1.5 miles i don't like, the banked tracks
@SwineBrothers6 жыл бұрын
jim guthry broke his spine during practice for this race...just sayin.
@SwineBrothers3 жыл бұрын
@@noahparsons7688 It was a bad wreck, but that could have happened at Indy. It could have happened at any oval really. The track isn't to blame, overly-aggressive drivers are.
@SwineBrothers3 жыл бұрын
@@noahparsons7688 The way to get Indycars to be competitive on 1.5 mile ovals is to make them race so closely that..Well, those old IRL races were kinda scary.

@crazyful123 A bit too much. 21 when the economy gets better maybe but 25 is far too many.

The raceway is open once again...unfortunately no pro motorsports yet...Colorado seems to be a big black hole for professional motorsports.
