1997 Seadoo GTX cavitation Issue

I think the cavitation is from from my PTO, or from my fly wheel…

That’s the first I would say, a bent shaft . I had the same issue with my gtx and service dept found out after everything was replace is a bent shaft …

While rebuilding my pump I was curious if the drive shaft was straight. Pulled it out and rolled it on a flat surface. Turns out it was definitely bent. Instead of buying new, I took my time tweaking it back with a press. I only mention this because I seen a video on another seadoo with cavitation issues. They replaced everything except the drive shaft. Once they did go ahead and change it out it solved everything for them.
