Keep your Sea doo or Jet ski's from cavitating due to open cavities in Pump Intakes and front loaders. I am doing this on a R&D intake grate front loader for a 2016 sea doo spark. It can be applied to other intakes like Riva racing, skat trak, WORX,. and many other water craft makes and models.

I don't understand how this does anything? It's not any [part that's in contact with the pump water flow, what am I missing?

I think the pump can pull air out from void maybe causing some cavitation?

@@markg999 I suppose that is the only thing that makes sense. Typically when people are talking about stuffing pumps they are talking about filling the forward most portion on the pump inlet that creates a void of water thus causing cavitation. I guess if the pump is able to suck air from this space in this video it could be a source for cavitation as well.

Correct it is supposed to keep you from having cavitation from that void. They sell these online this is just a do-it-yourself but I find it makes a better seal. I just took it Off. And it looks great one year later

*Atimatik Army* lmao dumbass ... pump stuffing is when the impeller rpm doesn’t match the engine rpm and you’re forcing too much water into the pump and the ski bogs. Some skis have actually had the pump tunnel explode from that. This is a poor mans pump seal kit. Educate yourself before spewing bullshit

Have you had that happen with your ski or just passing along info you heard or read? Would love to pictures and write ups on this to validate your claims. I've never heard or seen this happen. Would love to see the more on this.

@@kaseybowen Right-ON I need to shoot a video I took it off this season we had a wave crash accident and it cracked the hull. Hit nothing but water from a boat wave jump. SO far no issues with the rubber firmed up nice and hard. Also the bolt on upgrades are worth it. keeps hooked up had great hole shoot and went from 47Mph to 49mph. but the hole shot is great now.

Thanks for the update! My intake grate came in the weekend and did the same, although used the Black Flex seal (clear wasn't available). Was a bit concerned as it seems to be a soft rubber, so glad to hear it is holding up. Mine is firm but does feel a bit squishy like a thick rubber band. Will let it sit and dry a bit more and hopefully install it this weekend. I did this but left the stock ride plate seal in place when I filled the void. Going to fill in the voids on the area that mounts to the hull next. Has anyone done this on the ride plate too?

I let mine sit for 3 days..was pretty hard..my super charge ski sucked that crap right out and made a hell of a mess..

@@JustinSmith0 ya..and somehow made the stock plug that is held down by the ride plate jam up in the plate sidways ..got lucky i didnt lose it..made my speedo only go up to 16 mph.so i used gps and i lost 15 mph top end..lol..86 mph ski was goin 71...no idea why that happend..but

Are you still able to use the stock seal trim between the intake grate and ride plate. You’re supposed to leave that in place.
