Thanks, it helped me a lot to change rotors and brake pads. Great tutorial.

Awesome video packed with real solid instructions and reason why you're doing what you're doing during each step of the way. You touched on more areas than some of these "pro" sites. -Hanging the caliper so not to kink/puncture break line while making the rest of the work easier to do since caliper not in your way. -Opening master brake reservoir so when caliper is reset, the extra fluid in line doesn't pop open and overflow. -Break cleaning rotor, multiple times due to mfr original film to prevent rust. -torque specs -could use more explanation on greasing sliding pin but overall solid man. Thank you brotha'!

Thanks for the video. My 15 yr old and I enjoyed all the specifics. We had changed pads before but 1st time for rotors. We really enjoyed the music too. We listen to those songs all the time. My son was guessing at what radio station it might be but we are from Oregon, he noticed it had advertising which he noted it couldn't be KLOVE. I guessed it might be the Wave? Thanks brother.

How important is the torque wrench in your opinion?
@oscars-autorepair3236 Жыл бұрын
Super important, you don’t want to over tight or under tight bolts.

Thank you, but do I put the brake cap on first and then pump the brakes so it doesn't leak from the cap? Thank you for the scripture and hope to hear from you soon, I'm a handyman and done some mechanical work and I do occasionally enjoy working on my Toyota van, it's a sienna ce 1999😃
@oscars-autorepair32365 жыл бұрын
Hi, no need to put the brake cap on. Once you pump the brakes, your brake system would most likely suck in any brake fluid. Just remember to refill the brake resovior to the max line.
