One of the greatest scalps surely the Rams had some terrific talent at the time with Gary Rowett on guitar hahaha but in all seriousness with Paulo and Deon and Stefano and Francesco complementing the likes of Stimac and co they were very tough opposition...

unfortunetly for me i was at this game it was about a week before roy evans got sacked and houllier took sole charge, joint managers what an idiotic idea that was, credit derby county though i could not believe how good they were and looking back you can see why, they actually had some real high qaulity players

Someone should post the full games of your wins over us and the rags in the late 90s. This game in particular was a bad result but it was actually a mini cup final because this was the game the Madrid scouts came to anfield
