Some great rallying there .. that Belgacom impreza of deMevius was a beautiful looking machine. Tiff Needell drove it on top gear before the rac that year. And I then saw it there on the event itself so it brings back special memories.

Good old Sky Sports and their rally magazine program (or was this from that general motorsport magazine program?), it seems these days we can’t even get commentary to rallies any more let alone a weekly round-up of rallying

It was called World Motorsports and was the work of Andrew Marriott (commentator on this report). It covered circuit racing as well as rallying.
