How good is it to hear so many drivers interviewed in the commentary box Adds so much colour and insight into the personalities of the competitors.

Id love to see this in 1080p. Edit : That Wynns Commodore is straight up the best livery on a touring car I've ever seen.

Man the grid back then was awesome... pity V8SC is in a mess with RECs these days...
@randybobandy92435 жыл бұрын
Hear Hear !! Today’s Aussie V8 series is still better than today’s NASCAR.. Talk about a mess, Mate!! Cheers from ‘Murica!!
@mattcecil66925 жыл бұрын
RECs bring stability. It's also cheaper to have 26 cars on a grid over 40 or 50
@colinstewart14325 ай бұрын
Can't think of any form of motorsport that is even close to the years 1990-2010. F1 has gone woke. Rallying isn't as good. V8SC is a shadow of its former self. Only the Isle of Man TT still delivers.

Bring back the H box & open windows.
@miguelrivera69419 жыл бұрын
I dont care about the windows, but standard H pattern shifters should definitely be back.

@philipwatson8110 Жыл бұрын
@@ghostridersnr It looks like an early version of a sequential box as there is very little clutch use. It's the racing standard of the 2000's

Reminded me of catching the US broadcast of the 2011 Bathurst as a pit reporter. Many didn't like that move when Mike Joy, regarded as one of motorsport's best commentators in the United States, was given lead commentary. Note how calm Joy was catching slow cars off the line and they built storylines, but catch Joy's call of the final restart to the flag versus White and how they painted Lowndes' run and Tander's resolve. "Lowndes gives it his all!"

Supercars has changed so much. I have interest in most motorsports but supercars is not very interesting for me anymore. They are basically upside down planes with the current aero setups. I wish I could find a reliable telecast source for some of the "lesser" categories that more closely resemble the supercars I remember and loved. EG early 90s to mid naughties ish. That's my unasked for 2c
