I just bought a 2021 cbr1000rr and looking at this gorgeous yellow bike I'm envious!

Dude so sorry you sold it - that thing was mint!

PapaWheelie I just got into riding a few months ago, and got one of these bikes as a gift from my boss. It’s all stock, save for a Yoshimura slip on, and has about 3,000 miles on it.

Didn't sound exactly right, and shouldn't take that long to warm up, unless it's artic outside. If you didn't sell it, I would have check cam chain tensioner, cleaned carbs- jets, check valve adjustment, also could have got some bad gas with water in it. I have this same exact year and color fireblade.. love it!! Mine warms up less than 30 seconds! And runs like beast!! Love cbr's and gsx-R.

Does Johnny Tran know you have his bike 😮

You could’ve just let the choke on for 10 seconds and adjusted your idle knob. Revving it like that is why it sounds like that.

Dude you do not have to warm that bike up like that. 45 seconds and hit it. If you're going to ease the throttle and gradually baby it's laughable. Just choke it for 10 seconds and be done. You do more harm than good. Those carbs and the whole valve train are built to run. Twist it and let it run. They need to be ran

7 years too late, but damn, That bike sounds like garbage. It's either been sitting too long or timing is trash for some mech reason. You should be happy that you sold it. Someone was a sucker. lol
