I remember back 65 years ago when I was a kid, building a the Visible V-8 model engine. It ran too but on battery power and it was all plastic. And it was a great learning experience. It familiarized me with the internal workings of an engine so that six years later when I worked on the real thing, I wasn’t intimidated. This one here, though, I am probably gonna look at getting one of these to play with. I love that it’s made of metal. Tell the truth I’m really sick of plastic!

In case you don't know about it: this crap material releases "micro plastics" on everything, and there isn't something on the body, on nature, that can desintegrate it, so it acumulates on the body of everyone, causing hormonal problems. Also, the recycle plastic thing is a farse, it does not work, it releases more mp.

It can't work. Because the molecular structure of the materials used cannot form enough bonds for greater power and would crack. For a larger, more voluminous engine, you must use different materials and components.

This motor is much better than the most real engines from Mercedes , Kia , Honda ....it has cylinder liners made of steel !! And the liners are removeable !

@@balrogDCLXVIyeah store bought is two stroke nitro mix. This is 4 stroke with valves and adjusted to even idle nice. Way different. The only you get this in rc is to machine it yourself or buy a ridiculously priced similar engine then you need a 1/5 or 1/4 scale rig to put it in. Only the top rc guys will have this type of engine in a vehicle. Amazing job.

This is probably not an American product. I have never seen this and impressed. This is probably From Germany or Japan. Here in the USA we should have the Ford 289 or GM 350 real size engines as kits so we can continue our classic car projects today. This is very exciting to see in miniature!!

I have watched many videos on the assembly of miniature engines, ( i did fancy a V8 OHC variant at one point ) but , these are engines that will rev to several 1000 rpm buy do not have any oil supply system , so unless you strip and regrease after every run they cannot last long
