Absolutely gorgeous CR500 guys! Buddy of mine out in Cali owns 19 Honda dirt bikes he races and he builds them all himself and he's 68 years old and still races still build them and he wouldn't give them up for nothing he's going to keep riding till the day he dies.

I just bought a 1994 Honda cr250r. And holy SH** this thing is fast. She's a RIPPA! Explosive power and keeps going to high revs. From now on im in love with Honda bikes. This bike is a keeper for sure.

Ive got a very nice '99 very low hours, still original honda grips, kenda tires. Only thing changed: protaper bars, procircuit pipe, fmf silencer...otherwise original. But THIS ONE YOU HAVE IS EVEN NICER..what a beautiful piece...WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME! Im surprised you and JR arent keeping it and sell off your whole lot of 500's thats how nice this is!

Cr 500 Original owner . Upgrade renthal bars from new... single digit hr time.... Means Looped it out lowside, 3rd ride, plastic saved by his body, bars fucked...scared ....parkedfor 22 years. Edit...buddy had 86 yz 490, later other buddy had God awful pink 94 cr500...after riding clapped 125 and 250s...anything past 3rd gear gets hairy...hell 2nd gear all away around a track is fast enough...only reason to shift up was so throttle/ torque curve was not so on/ off switch throttle...off,or full out power...hardly a curve but a near instant peak.edit. 490 was a shsrper curve over 500...sometimes to fast too quick ain't for the better overall.
