As a massive OSU fan and Chiefs fan, I never knew OSU played in their stadium. Too bad they couldn’t pull it off but how cool

What an upset this would have been. I remember being 11 years old watching this game. I didn't think it was possible for anybody to beat Nebraska.

Me neither. They were Monsters back then

They lost 4 games 🤷🏻♂️ Solich was an ok coach, at best.

They went 60-3 with three national titles at one point in my childhood. Like you I didn't think they'd ever lose. Years later they lost 70-10 to Texas Tech and I didn't know what version of Earth we were on.

And why the he'll did franky pick Bobby over crouch, Bob was Never going to be a qb, he sucked.

Newcombe got hurt, that’s why Crouch was able to be the qb. Bobby was damn good when healthy, moron.

Go rewatch the first half against Louisiana Tech. Newcombe didn't "suck". But he did blow out his knee that game and was never the same. Crouch should have been the day-1 starter in 1999. Solich was definitely not that bright. Also note Crouch suffered injuries in the '98 season as well, which is why Christo started at one point, too.
