I've been a fan of Pacific Seacraft since 1980 when I was sailing San Juan 24's around Puget Sound. They're still as classy and functional and built as ever to make me drool. I never was in a position to do any serious sailing and now that my body is no longer able to support that wish it has to be enough to simply explore here and dream of the pounding waves and the biting wind and the summer sun glistening on the breakers. Thanks for keeping that dream alive, I'm sure the new owners are proud of their purchase and I wish them and the next owners much success and joy. She's a classic beauty. 👍👍👍

I worked directly across the street form the factory in the 90's when they were on Orangethorpe ave Fullerton, Ca. I placed my desk and drafting table so I could see the boats leave the factory. On the office wall there was post cards that sailors sent in from all over the world. The little Flicka 20 to the big 40! Those are high quality yachts, and now after all those years, I can probably afford one from the 90's!

With less talk concerning the definition of 'forward facing' & over use of the term 'really', you could of covered the engine bay & other crucially important points. Ditching the ghastly soundtrack as well, leaving raw explanation & the boats bones would be a plus to consider🎐Maybe a remark or two concerning nav-gear, & especially a remark towards who performed the crazy fine wood finish. Thanks for this share!

Perhaps you’re right. Video editing is in itself a big learning curve. Much like sailing. I have 2 years worth of videos coming out and each one is an improvement over the last for sure. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some feedback. It really helps since KZbin removed the dislike button. This helps me a lot.

@@RameyFamily right on! Look at the best, and the very worst. Check off the aspects that gun your engine, and avoid like poison jellyfish the rest. Pretend your talking to Jules , builder with his wife Suzie, the Emerald Steel. Forget music unless its wind or waves lapping. Background tunes in boat tours is only second in stupidity to Santa Claus adding airplane required lighting. Just talk and fill that lens!

The boat is currently sold and no longer listed. It was going for mid $225-$250k range when I looked and toured. However as with everything the price shifts with demand in the market. The new owners have moved it to another slip elsewhere last I knew. (This video was filmed in 2021)

Crealock designed this boat and the Westsail 28&32 bothe very slow boats I would find a better designer, like Doug Peterson designed very fast race boats

Definitely a lesson learned in the editing software here lol. I’m VERY sorry but I can’t fix at this point. Shame too. Turn on subtitles - they are accurate enough. A rookie mistake on my part for sure.
