I swear, that Mid-Late 90s ESPN Bowling Theme music feels like we as a sport were performing in a late night bar lounge.

Robin Valenzuela had one continuous smile on her face from beginning to end, very refreshing.

Tammy Turner reminds me of the babysitter in Goodfellas here and Brenda Norman was Jenny Slate before Jenny Slate. Both ladies throw Mack trucks down the lane.

Nice to have so much of the title match bowled during commercials. 🙄

Back when DVR hadn't been perfected, and a lot of times ESPN aired their bowling stuff on tape and edited it down to fit 90 minutes. I'm thrilled the networks (CBSSN and FOX) have finally come around into giving the sport a 2-hour window.

I know that Dick Weber was a great bowler with 26 titles but, I feel that he had the worst footwork that I have ever seen. I hardly ever saw him post a shot. He always fell off his shot like a senior league bowler.

It's physics. He was relatively thin and light. The ball was basically hard rubber. All the "lift" and revolutions was provided by the fingers. He went straight through the ball very forcefully. After it left his hand, there was a transfer of weight/inertia that was about 12-15% of his total body weight. His follow through was actually out to the right, after the ball was released, for additional balance.
