My 2002 odyssey the window is stuck in the down position and I can raise it about an inch or two but thats it. How did you get yours raised to get to the bolts that hold the window?? Did you have to unbolt the regulator first then you got the window up?? That's where I'm stuck at right now. Getting the window up all the way. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hopefully you still have power, in might be the run channels. If you can, have someone, with the key on, run the switch up as someone is trying to rock the glass back and forth while pulling up at the same time. Other than that it’s going to suck trying to get a ratcheting boxed end wrench on the bolts on the bottom side.

@@whitneybinz5186 Well cutting the cable didn't work like I hoped but I managed to get the two bolts out securing the window. Once that was done it was a piece of cake getting the old motor out and the new one in. Thanks for your response from earlier.

the obivious stuff you show well but how the get regulator out and in wasn't shown. first you say take window out then you say wedge it somehow? totally lost on the important hard to figure part.

Diana Boyd: Once the bolts are loosened from the regulator it is a pretty simple slide out. Most would pull the window out of the run channel and sit down. But that is more difficult. Some will wedge the window wit tape while I just wedge it at an angle within the run channel. Though this can be done it is not the safest way since the window can fall and shatter. I do not want to suggest doing something unsafe so I would suggest using tape. Sorry for being vague. I do appreciate the feed back. And I will work on this in future videos.

You can use tape to hold the window up, tape it too the door or edge tape in between the window and the outside door between the seal and the window. To remove the window you have too remove the window seal which I can be kind of tricky to reinstall unless you have done it before. As far as the "removing regulator" comment it you just raise it out and pull it out of the opening, not a high technique step, just slide around u til you can get it to the opening.

If motor is gone u can unhook and then connect it back after u pull it up

Did you hook the power connectors back up? There are a couple that need hooked up. Does the regulator make any noise?

Yes, they have to be connected for the regulator to work. It will make a little noise, not much though.
