KsKaylor so true, we just out long tube headers on so we had to put a catted xpipe on but we found a conversion so we’re actually going to be putting the off road back on! Can’t wait for that growly sound! Make sure to subscribe to see that video. Should be later this week

Ratchet Wrenches Awesome! Flowmaster 40s and an off road mid pipe is the perfect balance of volume and tone. Catted mid pipes are better with Super 10s imo. I had single chamber Cherry Bomb Extremes with a BBK O/R X pipe and it was far too much, swapped back to my Super 44s shortly after. There’s a reason everyone runs Flowmaster and off road mid pipes on these cars, it’s the best sound!

Wrong nothing beats an off road h pipe and Flowmasters, FACT... X pipe sound better with straight through mufflers like Slp 1s, borlas and magna paks. X pipes are way too raspy with chambered mufflers, but you are entitled to your opinion

Man this BBK X pipe is crazy loud., it took a little longer to install then I thought but boy it was worth it. Thanks for your video. The hardest part for me was the driver side 02 sensor would not reach the new pipe, after some adjusting on the pipe 2 plug defoulers and some bad words finally got it, its very loud its going to take a minute to get use to it.

Few years ago I put on a x pipe. Took stock H pipe off with 100k miles. Came off no problem. Go to put a H pipe on and take x Pipe off.... passenger side loosens up no problem from header. Drivers side (the easier side) is giving me a headache. The nut is almost rounded. What a PITA!

I have a new edge and also have the pypes off rd X pipe, but with m80 mufflers. I've done back to back comparisons sound and performance wise. I'll say sound wise u can definitely tell the difference. But I have to say without a dyno I couldn't say for sure power wise

motojunkie yeah I’m sure the power difference is there but not a drastic amount. We’re thinking about cutting the mufflers off to straight pipe it. We just put long tube headers on and that removed the off-road x pipe so we have a catted x pipe. Definitely quieted it down so we want some more noise

I believe you actually cannot order an off road Xpipe anymore except if it’s on an online forum due to more strict environmental regulations. If you can find yourself one I would buy the MIL eliminators they are gonna be cheaper then a flash tuner for sure. Thanks appreciate that!

I would say between 2-3 hours. Really depends how rusted those bolts are up by the intake manifold. That’ll sound awesome!

It’ll definitely smell more rich and a little like gasoline sometimes yes because you’re deleting the catalytic converters which really catch a lot of the fumes and odors coming through the exhaust. I don’t recall mine being unbearable though

As long as it Is the V8 it shouldn’t change much because it’ll be the same engine. But on the shifts it’ll sound differently but not by muchAnd yeah I wouldn’t do it in Cali with all the emissions because this isn’t catted so technically it’s polluting and Ik they’re very strict out there

I actually don't have this set up anymore cause we went turbo, but when I did have it on I'd just swap it for inspection. I think CEL was on but I'd turn it off with my SCT flash tuner. Ran great and sounded amazing

Hey so i had a bone stock exhaust set up. Got the exhaust set up basically like straight pipe attached to slp mufflers. I still have my cats, and resonators. I want a bbk offroad x pipe, im kind of confused with the slp mufflers, am i suppose to keep them on? Ik my bbk offroad is gonna be catless

Aaron Chavez the alp mufflers will still be on because the x pipe is before that. Unless you change it up and delete the mufflers. It’ll be super loud tho

If you want a “clean loud exhaust sound” I would stay away from the BBK catless x-pipe. Let me tell you, everything about that exhaust is raspy (the revs, downshifts and accelerations). It’s very loud and raspy but I love the sound and it’s a night and day difference from an hpipe. If I were you I would do high flow catted mid pipe. I would also ask around for suggestions since it is kind of hard to tell the exhaust note based on KZbin videos. In person is much different

How is the fitment of the LTs? Does the mid pipe hang lower than it does? I have a older vid....i believe 7 or 8 yrs ago after i had pneumonia. I did a video of what all i have done to my car. I sound like crap in it..but see what you like. Maybe have a few parts on your car too in the future.

The LT’s are extremely tight fit, especially on the passenger side... the mid pipe sits slightly lower then the long tubes yes, I have some scrape marks on the mid pipe that’s for sure. I’ll have to take a look at it

I don’t know if you necessarily need 2’ extensions but type in your year make and model O2 sensor extensions on google and you can find them cheaper on eBay or find them a little higher priced for name brand online. Hope this helps

Please help me. I got a 03 gt that's currently header dumped because I'm tryna figure out a exhaust. I wanted a Catless xpipe, and some mufflers. How do i pass emissions. Ive heard you can tune it and make it look like its good. I have an hptuner for my car so Thats an option. I also have heard they sell replace pieces for o2 sensors that fakes the readings. Someone help I needa pass emissions soon lol

Yep so you’ll wanna buy yourself a set of MIL Eliminators which tricks the ECU to thinking there is the correct readings and flow when really there isn’t. They are about $50 I believe. Or if you’re handy with electrical work apparently you can make your own for very cheap, KZbin it if you’re interested! If you just turn off the check engine light via your tuner with no MIL Eliminators, that’ll only get you so far before the light comes back on

You’re deleting the Cat converters so your o2 sensors are reading more fumes than normal which tells the car there’s an issue aka yes an engine light will come on. In order to avoid that you can get o2 spacers or a tune. We have a tuner which we can tell the computer that the readings are right

Usually it’s loosing all the connecting points(clamps) and then just rotating it around. Shouldn’t be hard
