Basically he's ordered another factory radio on ebay put it in and he's having an issue with his driver side door speaker every time he turns the radio on it pops in the radio won't work he put new speakers in both doors and still nothing that's why I'm thinking of something to do with the factory amp if there even is one? I installed an older Pioneer double din in my F250. An issue was the unit would only store 3 bluetooth devices. To get to the menu to be able to erase a device, you had to have the green wire hooked up, which I didn't since I had no reason for it, similar to your thoughts... very frustrating! Check yours for this issue. Great channel, keep it up.

If you’re racking about the OEM unit, then they can be pretty stuck in there. If you are referring to the aftermarket one, depending on how the trimmed the plastic it could be pretty tight as well but it it’s clipped in on the sides and pulls out towards you. If you really need to just pull the whole dash panel with the radio still attached.

how do you manage to talk about everything except actually removing the old stereo. You seem like a nice guy but damn...
@LivingOnWheels2 жыл бұрын
Because I didn’t remove the factory stereo for this. I removed and old single din unit. The factory unit has two holes on each side that you need to push the right tool into, then pry each outward and then pull it out towards you. If you can reach up behind it, it can definitely help to push it out. They tend to be stuck if they’ve never been out before. Coat hanger can work to release the latch but then you’d definitely need to push from the back.
