As far as video game collectibles go, they're kind of at the bottom. I agree they may very well gain value. But most video game collectibles are valuable because they're able to be interacted with and are fun. Most amiibos kept as collectibles only, as their functionality is just a novelty.

I'd say Pokemon card probably though I guess it would depend on what card it is but I feel like for the Pokemon card it would be able to have as a collectible easier than the space that a beanie baby takes which isn't too much more but is still more regardless. Also at that point for either one you probably wouldn't ever use them due to their high cost so technically both are kind of useless though (except for possibly selling it later as it increases in value)
