1999 Honda Civic: Koni Adjustable Rear Shocks with EM1 Si Springs

This video details how to remove your oem rear shocks and springs. I replaced the worn suspension components with new ride height adjustable Koni Shocks and low mileage (minty fresh!) EM1 Si springs. Also replaced were the shock bump stops, boots, mounts and bushings.
With the springs on the lowest Koni perch, the overall drop in ride height measures .75” after settling on the car for roughly 6 months and 5k miles.
Torque Specs
Rear Upper Control Arms: 29 lb-ft
Rear Lower Shock Bolt: 40 lb-ft
Rear Upper Shock Mount Flange Nuts: 36 lb-ft
Top Shock Nut: 22 lb-ft
End-link Flange Nut: 22lb-ft
Wheel Lug Nuts: 80 lb-ft

Great content, how's the ride comfort compared to stock . Is it bumpy or smoother ? Just curious cause I'm about to get the same setup for my integra.

@@jdmintegradp Zero complaints with it and I’m very glad I spent the money on them. They aren’t harsh at all on their softest setting and can always be adjusted. If you have a base Integra you could try to find some GS-R springs to pair them with for an OE plus ride.

Thanks for the reply. I was just curious because I was about to order the b12 Bilsteins which come with eibach lowering springs but the rears have a small hole 14mm most likely for the type r integra rear lower lca's. People on Honda tech where saying that Koni yellows are to stiff with OEM or soft springs alike and because of that I was hesitant. Thanks again....
