What a crazy rare car. I30t’s were hard to find as it is. Most i30’s were just regular versions. Finding an i30t with a 5 speed manual is the holy grail. I had a 1997 i30t but unfortunately it was an auto. I’ve never seen a 5 speed i30 in real life.

This was the maxima everywhere outside of N. America. This was badged as the Infiniti here. Then cheapened the North American maxima. This was so seriously underrated and a victim of the crowded field. In my opinion this Infiniti/Nissan was best and after 1999 Nissan was wrecked.

@@carstencroessmann I still drive one in NZ with a 5 speed manual transmission. It is the most reliable car I've ever owned and looks almost as good as the day it came out of the factory. 25 years old and still going strong, not a single thing is broken inside or out.
@carstencroessmann4 жыл бұрын
@@slooob23 Totally agree.I just work on the 24 years old of my father in law. He wanna sell it because he baught an Infintiy now. I lowered it him 21 years ago as I saw in the papers. They just wanna give him 800€ so I decided to keep it. Got only 175tkm which is around 108kmls. Rust is my biggest enemy, because of the winter and salt, but almost done, welded an new front into the frame luckily found a used one. Now our daughter can ride it and in 6 years we get the historical plates. But it's an Automatic, before the A32 he owned a J30 that was a shifter. Man burn out in 3'rd gear no problem. Once I'm finished I'll make a video too. Greetings from Germany
@slooob234 жыл бұрын
@@carstencroessmann I'd love to see your video when its done. I had to repair the front radiator support too, but that is the only moderately expensive repair I've done in 6 years. The rest of the car is rust free. The radiator support (some call it the front cross member) is a common issue on this model. I've got 220,000km on mine, my mechanic has one with 450,000km on the clock with the same automatic transmission!
