See here's the problem : Everyone keeps blaming Carly but it's not Carly . Jason knows everything about Carly he's his own man and makes his own choices. People have to stop treating him like he's blind or stupid Jason does what he wants to do.

Here's my point of view on this subject: Whatever the reason for what happened to happen, it wasn't Robin's decison to make or thing to do. It wasn't Robin's truth to tell, she was not Michael's birth mother, or step-mother, she had no biological or legal right to Michael, she shouldn't have been the one to tell AJ the truth about Michael. I agree what Jason and Carly did was wrong, but they put themselves in that position and made those choice, TOGETHER! Carly didn't force Jason to do it, didn't blackmail or mind control him, it was Carly's choice to go to Jason, her decision to have him be Michael's father, not the Quartermaines, not Tony, HERS! This was Robin's issue w/Carly and her once again trying to control Jason's life. The thing is in later years Robin does this again, with Spencer(Though I understand that one), and it swept under the rug. She even has the balls to blame Carly for the break up(I'm guessing)and in 2011, blames Carly for messing with Sonny and Brenda's wedding with no facts or proof. This just shows that, romantically speaking, Carly and Sam are the ones who can handle Jason's criminal lifestyle, even though Jason and Sam break up, she can handle the life. In fact, in 2012, Sam and (I understand why) does what Robin did and withholds Robin's death from Jason, and Carly, CARLY, is the one who tells Jason Robin's dead. Again I understand why, and so does Jason, but still, I mean really, you should trust Jason and what he can handle. In closing, this whole thing proves that Robin and Jason, while they work as a couple, are better as friends, even if they aren't as see each other everyday, as they used to be.

The halfway point to the end of GH's golden era. The first quarter was VM leaving in '98. The halfway point was KM leaving in '99. The third quarter was JJ leaving in '99. Then the final part was SB leaving in 2000. It made ABCDisney revamp the show to focus around Sonny and Carly.

By early 2002, the Sonny/Carly focus pretty much took over the show, but sadly around 1999 was when the mob trinity began its dominance and takeover of the series.

@@isaiahhill2104 so true ! Who could have thought micheals birth completely changed everything. Vets like Alan Monica Bobbie Tony became totally irrelevant. Sb also left the show announcing it in October 99. So they decided w/o jason , sonny had no pairing they could think of. So Carly pretty much given Sarah b's incredible acting proved she could hold her on at a young age w/ so many great vets like Alan Monica Bobbie Tony Luke Robin etc. She had nothing to do w/ sonny from 97 to 99. Once Brenda was gone & Steve was leaving they decided to force pair Carson out of nowhere. Characters were written ooc to make that happen. Sonny treated Carly all of 99 like trash. Calling her tramp gold Digger liar. Carly would never have stood for there. For whatever reason she continued to kiss sonny's butt. No matter how viscious he was to her.

@@nattyps3160 I haven’t seen too many clips from 99’, but from what I have seen, I’m inclined to agree. Yeah, like I said, the Sonny/Carly/Jason show started to form that year when they were established as leads of the show. The Sonny/Carly and mob focus was amped up a bit in 01’ due to Phelps, but you still saw many of the vets like Bobbie, L&L, the Qs, and the Cassadines featured all the time and they were still very central to the series. At some point after Courtney was added in so that Sonny could take over more of the show, we saw the vets featured less and the other storylines of the show being shuffled around, while the Sonny/Carly/Alexis triangle and Micheal’s Paternity Saga were featured almost every day. Then after Guza returned with Brian Frons in summer 2002, the show became mob central and the vets truly did become irreverent from that point onward until Frank and Ron came in during 2012.

Robin is correct. Babies cry, but that doesn't mean Jason needs to go rushing over there every night just because he's crying. In fact, as Bobbie explained some time ago, Jason should NOT go to Michael every time, otherwise Michael will grow up expecting to get what ever he wants just by crying. I really wish Jason could understand that!

NO. Babies cry for a reason; always. We may be too exhausted to respond every time, but this old "let him/her cry" has been long disproved. What a baby learns when no one comes is that no one cares or is there. No one will comfort them. Is THAT the lesson you want your baby to learn? There's tons of evidence from babies in Romania & Russia about how they become depressed left alone in their cribs & not responded to. Primary difference is from time immemorial there was a grandma living in the house. it's only been the last 60-70 years or so that it's all on the Mother; alone.

Carly was manipulative and she did use Michael to get what she wanted. I was always glad that Robin told it. Robin grew up around AJ, Jason, Tony, and Bobbie. Carly was a menace that came to town with the worst intentions and acted upon them. She didn’t deserve respect, loyalty, or anything from Robin. Jason should not have put Robin in that situation. I’m glad Jason and Sonny eventually apologized to Robin, after they wised up years later and realized they were wrong for treating her the way they did.

Jason actually would have been better off not telling robin the truth. Robin did have a vindictive streak when it came to her man which women have. Jason really thought she was a perfect angel. She told aj to hurt Jason & esp carly. She had no problem playing house with mikey & Jason when carly was away at ferncliff mental hospital.

Oh please . Carly was and still is a vindictive bitch. Robin tried her damnest to be nice to Carly inspite of the lie she dragged Jason in but Carly wouldn't have it, insulting and attacking Robin on a daily basis. Robin didn't tell AJ to hurt Jason or even Carly. She told AJ bc a) he deserved to know, Robin had been pushing Jason for months to tell AJ the truth b) yes she loved Michael but she didn't put Carly in Ferncliff, Carly put herself there and her ass should have stayed there. Lord knows she needed it. C) Robin knew what it was like to be lied to like that and didn't want Michael to grow up how she did with lies. And no Robin wouldn't have been better off not knowing the truth because that's exactly what Carly wanted, for AJ and Robin to be kept in the dark while she ran off with Michael. Carly had no plans in sticking around after Michael was born, and ironically enough she didn't. She came back hoping to get with Jason and when that didn't happen she did everything in her power to make sure that she disrupted every moment that JnR would have alone. Robin wasn't vindictive she was just being honest, being true to herself no matter what it cost her. Funny how Jason admitted she was right.

I hated when they broke up it made me mad, i really loved them. I hated how they had her leave in 99 it sucked. It took Jason nearly six years to realize that Robin was right all along and when he apologized to her just a few months ago I was like FiNALLY..

Nah I'm glad they broke up. Jason tossed Keesha away like trash and replaced her with Robin. He was ruthless to Keesha but not to Robin so I don't feel bad.

Then Jason had his crash and Robin was able to not only be with him, but pretty much shape his entire life. I know that Stone was in between, but that has always rubbed me the wrong way besucase Robin talks about Carly “getting her claws into Jason,” but Robin did the same thing.

She only told aj about michael out of retaliation, hopeing to get jason to leave michael and carly and come back to her. I loved jason/carly together.

Jason was too stupid (yes, stupid) to understand that that's not how relationships work. Jason didn't understand that you don't get to raise a family in one house and try to create a life with someone else you claim to love in another. Telling the truth stopped the ridiculous charade. Carly told Tony that Jason had fathered the baby due to the fact that both Tony & A.J. threatened to take Michael away from her. Carly lied so she wouldn't lose her baby. Robin should have made Jason admit the truth and made A.J. realize he was in no position to raise the child until he turned his life around. Maybe then things could have been better but it's a soap opera folks it's no perfect world unless we wouldn't watch.

@@ntxrated Robin pushed Jason for almost a year to tell AJ, kept bringing up joint custody. Big dummy Jason just couldn't or wouldn't do it . Carly poisoned Jason's brain against his family which alienated him further from the Quartermaine's, the Q's loved and trusted Robin so I seriously think with her influence on both AJ and Jason little Michael would have been just fine. Carly couldn't handle that, she wanted Jason all to herself, she had already envisioned the three of them as a family even though JnR were very much together and very much in-love. And to have Jason all for Carly she had to constantly remind Jason of the accident and constantly tell him how dysfunctional the Quartermaine's were, and the closer he got to making amends with his estranged family the more Carly was on his ass poisoning him against them until he saw them the way she did.
