No, as Robin pointed out, Carly often used Michael to get what she wanted from men (Here, mainly those men were Jason and Sonny). I think she did the right thing, but unfortunately lost Jason over it. I think as someone else said, Jason loved Michael more than Robin. I would have been tempted to do the same thing. But so many people are so fascinated by Carly's scheming ways, they like her and want her and Jason to raise the baby, even though she often used Jason in mean ways that Jason didn't understand.

I don’t get how Robin never understood the problem with what she did. Fans can argue that she did the right thing by being honest, but here’s the bottom line: Jason confided in her about a huge secret and she snitched on him. People can try to dance around that, but at the end of the day it wasn’t her secret to tell and she completely betrayed his trust.

Everybody has blamed Carly for what went wrong in their relationships with Jason but she couldn't do anything that Jason didn't allow her to do when Carly had a problem Jason dropped everything to go help her whether it was big or small. Here it is 24 years later & if Jason was still alive nothing would be any different bc Carly holds a place in Jason's heart that's eternal no matter who's he with Carly will always in his life. Now for Robin she was wrong bc it wasn't her place to tell A.J about Michael being his son & she could've at least told Jason she was going to tell A.J the truth but she went to A.J first then came to Jason to explain why she did what she did but either way it was going to blow up in her face & destroy their relationship.

Robin was COMPLETELY RIGHT for what she did. Michael is AJ’s SON. And as for wanting to keep Michael away from people who lie, steal, and blackmail, he certainly didn’t succeed by handing Michael over to Sonny, who was the absolute worst choice to raise him. He wasn’t even able to raise his own kids bc of his life. Carly wouldn’t let Sonny help raise Morgan bc his life was dangerous, but she had no problem handing Michael to him even though Morgan is his actual son and Michael was not. Carly used Michael as bait to get and keep Sonny. She wanted Sonny’s power and influence and knew the best way to get it was to marry Sonny and have Sonny adopt Michael as his own. She is the WORST mother in the world.
