A hard fought League Cup Final against Leicester City was heading into extra time, with a ten man Spurs side in the ascendance, despite the sending off of Justin Edinburgh for reacting to a rash Robbie Savage tackle.
One last attack before the final whistle. Steffen Iversen bursts down the right wing and into the box where is cross/shot is parried by Kasey Keller in the Leicester goal, only for Allan Neilsen to dive in and head the winner. Cue wild celebrations for both players and fans alike as there would be no time for Leicester to respond.

RIP Justin. Played like he cared every time he turned out for us.

Savage was play acting throughout the game, justice was done in the end

I feel sorry for Nielsen. He only played because Tim Sherwood was cup-tied. He scored the winning goal in the last minute, was awarded man of the match but was dropped for the next game because Sherwood was available again!

I was there as a kid. I really thought under Graham as poor as the games were sometimes we were on the right track. This really brought back some good memories. Sadly I gave up my season ticket after falling out of love with the modern game and don't really follow it anymore but this makes me remember how fanatical as I was back then. RIP Justin, God rest his soul.

Sad to hear you don’t follow Tottenham anymore as I am as deep in as I’ve ever been lol I hope we can become the top club in the world but nowadays you have so many oil clubs it’s hard to do

@@stonersid yeah I fell out of love for thw game early 2000s. Stopped going after Martin Jol left. I loved the 90s as a kid and like to watch "The Big Match" videos and enjoy that era. Nowadays I watch Enfield Town some weekends as well as Japanese football. It's like the 90s football era from here honestly I love it. I don't think I'll ever go to a Premier League game again. The clubs and majority of the players are pathetic. Not a care in the world for their fans.

@@Mindyobidnessfr every club will be an oil club eventually. The super league will happen at some point and I hope it does so the rest can crack on with a league not centred around money so much. Be like the pre-premier league era. Maybe it wouldn't be sustainable but like to see it happen.

I was 1 year old at this time and even as a youngster I was never really a big fan of this sport as it was my 3rd or maybe even 4th favorite sport (although I was always a Tottenham fan) but as years gon by it became my favorite and now as an adult I couldn’t even imagine how much I would have loved to be in the position you were at that age bro you are a part of Tottenham history and salute to you

So you are the one who celebrated with players? It sure had to be awesome feeling.

It really was man, we got to see the, celebrate, I can remember one of my friends shouting something to Sol Campbell and he responded. We didn’t celebrate with them, but we got to see it all, the parade around the pitch etc. For someone who had never been to a football match it was a dream. I remember thinking to myself Wembley seemed a lot smaller in person. My former P.E teacher who passed away took us, just an all round special day.

I don't think Moura is ugly at all, not that it really matters. As for Kane, I don't give a shit how he looks as long as he keeps scoring goals.
