@@papapeethehunks The Americas won 14/19 Trump-era titles, out of which 10 were Latinas (we're including Justine Pasek because she completed the reign instead of Oxana) so they won a lot and that created a huge MU pageant fandom in that region. But now they don't win - not to mention the insult in 2015 - so they keep trash-talking the IMG era online when they should be telling their candidates to focus on public speaking and having a purpose in life instead of just looking hot in a bikini. This is all factual so don't know what upset you?

MU1999 - Philippines almost won its third crown here but Botswana simply stopped her by giving the best answer in the final q and a among the final 3 MU2012 - This time the Philippines gave the best answer among the final 5 and almost won its third crown but USA declared winner for some political reasons Trump simply doesnt like the Philippines at all!

Botswana was ahead of Philippines throughout the whole pageant. She placed higher than her going into the top 5. She scored higher than her in the top five question. I mean it wasn't like Botswana overtook her at the last minute. She was ahead of her throughout the whole pageant. Also, Philippines fell in the prelims. She should not have been in the top 10. As for 2012....Philippines nor the USA had any business being the final 2. They were probably two of the weakest final two in the history of the pageant. Miss Philippines that year was not attractive. That is why Miss USA won. Miss USA may have not been able to walk and as bland as a celery stick but she is pretty. That is why she won. Beauty Trumped that night.

Miriam Quiambao was supposed to be on Miss World 1999 competition,but the original winner Janelle Bautista (original representative of Philippines) has a problem on her passport. So the Miss Philippines (Binibining Pilipinas) organization send Miriam on Miss Universe on Trinidad & Tobago,Lalaine Edson (originally on Miss International 1999) send to Miss World in London and Georgina Sandico (originally first runner up on national pageant) send to Miss International in Tokyo.
