Squier recently returned to the NASCAR booth, albeit briefly, for the Southern 500, for NBC! HAPPY 80th, KEN! We still love ya, and, in the words of your protégé Nicole Briscoe, “Have a great ride!”

Its pretty sad in a way when you watch this race cause 5 of the people who worked this race are no longer with us, I can't even believe that this was Ken Squier's last race he did from the booth. Other than his special Darlington Throwback returns this was his last one.

To see Labonte put 5 seconds on the field in those first 10 laps after the last restart was awesome

I like that Ricky Rudd doesn't even care about his car is on fire... again. Just do the fire extinguisher thing I'm sure it'll be fine

Of all the years we've been going to Pocono, this was the coldest... friggin' Pocono weather. During one of the rain delays, I had to bust out a sweater. Not sure what the hell prompted us to bring sweaters to a track in July, but we did have 'em, just in case.

At 1:30:52 the replay shows the car landing on the rear tire carrier's foot, then at 1:34:10, they're talking about him possibly getting getting his foot run over by another car??

Think he said his only win of '99.......which was true, mark was strong then i remember he had an accident at Daytona July race and hurt his back, he was never the same the rest of 99....then i Think he got surgery in the off season....

55:30-56:23 "Pocono is boring" The track isn't the problem. The overly aero-dependent cars are the problem.
@braedonshelton23052 жыл бұрын
Man, TBS was lackluster to say the least. They never showed a replay of the Nadeau/Wallace wreck. Pocono has always been an interesting place. Some completely snoozer races, and some good ones. I’m glad we will only have one race a year starting in 2022 at pocono.
