#4 Penn State began its 1999 campaign in the best fashion possible with a nationally-televised shellacking of #3 Arizona in perhaps the most hyped Pigskin Classic ever.

Man chaffie fields what an athlete. Looks like he's coasting and he's the fastest guy on the field.

I worked security for this game on the field. So many good memories.

Well Arizona pissed away their chance of showing its relevance in this game.

I miss the days of big shoulder pads and punishing fullbacks. This is still when you could hit in football

Does anyone have a screenshot of later in the game (probably in the mid-4th quarter) when the score graphic in the corner showed "AU" instead of "ARZ" for the Wildcats? Since the entire game isn't available here I couldn't get it.

this game killed our season :(

It seemed like from 1996 through 2002 every team was using a dual quarterback system. Kind of ironic that Penn State's being made fun of for having two quarterbacks in 2011.

Rob Bolden wasn't a D-I quarterback and Matt McGloin wasn't being developed properly.

After the best season in my Alma Mater history, they squandered all that momentum poorly. I said to myself, oh well, there's always basketball and Notre Dame (been a fan for 31 years), but Notre Dame had a shit season too, but at least they had good victories over Oklahoma, USC, and ASU.

LOL after the Penn State game..."up next, the Little League World Series". Guess that is where Jerry went after retirement.

That's probably where he went after this game, and I'm a Penn State fan.
I would rather have my team humiliated for one game, rather than for an entire coaches' career like Penn State just did. This and all of your victories in the Joe Peta-file era canned......
