I daily drive a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire coupe with the 3-speed transmission. The car has 129,000km on it and it runs like an absolute clock. It has the 2.2L LN2 engine in it. A big less poweful than the engine you have but virtually indestructible. So long as you keep clean fluids in this car. It will absolutely last a lifetime. Truly and honestly I absolutely have no plans on getting rid of my Sunfire coupe. So much fun to drive. So little to break. Absolute 10/10 on reliability.

@@jacobhogan509 I wonder if there is a way to get around that theft system? The theft system in my car does not work. Perhaps somebody disabled it in my Pontiac.

I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire, paid $300 bucks for the car 5 years ago with 104,000 miles on it and now it has just under 150,000 miles on it, still runs great and is still very reliable, I'm gonna drive that car until it dies Lol

I’ve currently got a 1998 2.2L sedan, and it’s great, I’m about to hit 300000km on it, that 2.2L 4 cyl sure is indestructible. I’m considering getting used a 1997 2.4L convertible with only 120000km on it, tell me, is the 2.4L any good or should I stick with the 2.2L sunfires.

I haven’t had to do to much the steering and suspension is straight forward . Ac pump seized and I replaced with a bypass . Some people have issues with the timing chain on the 2.4 but I haven’t
