Sorry to be a hater, but this game supports my assertion that Brian Dawkins got into the HOF a bit prematurely ...Very little impact in games against the best teams he faced-this is a game against the GSOT and he has no tangible impact in this game...there are 6 turnovers committed by the Rams-he isnt in on any of em, and there are at least 3 bone-jarring hits made by Eagles defenders(2by Trotter), and he isnt the delivery boy of any of them, and it looks like thats him getting pancaked late in the game downfield...I think he was a very good safety, but I am reluctant to use the word great...Other safeties who have accomplished far more have had to wait and are still waiting...This is 1second shy of a 20minute video, and he doesnt do anything noteworthy which makes him jump off the screen or stick out whatsoever. I used to make highlight reels on the top safeties & other players during the early 2000s...I stopped including Dawkins in my regular efforts because most weeks he would produce a pair or handful of decent plays at best, whereas players like E.Reed R.Harrison Sean Taylor and T.Polamalu would regularly produce 3-5times as many good plays per game as Dawkins was producing on his best day...look at his playoff stats compared to other safeties such as Rodney Harrisons playoff stats with the Pats or Polamalus or Ed Reeds...I was sifting thru 3 and a half hrs of Eagles footage for 15-55seconds of him making plays per game at best...There simply werent enough highlights coming out of him per game to be worth my effort-he wasnt always around the ball, didnt have a knack for making big play the way the other aforementioned safeties did, and thats represented with what we can see, or simply dont see here-this game is from one of his best yrs statistically. Dawkins got into the HOF due to his urban popularity, no way around it, and it makes Saean Taylors death all these yrs later even harder to stomach because had Taylor been around for anywhere near as long and competing in the NFC east against the same opponents and each others QBs he would have annually made Dawkins pale in comparison which probably would have prevented him from getting into the HOF so unreasonably quick if not entirely.. The 30+minute long video Ive made of Rodney Harrison that Ive uploaded here is only from 2 seasons of him as a Patriot...The amt of good plays, just solo tackles alone, that he made per game compared to what I was seeing from Dawkins was so much more substantial I remember thinking at the time I would have needed to copy Eagles games for 6-7 yrs in order to create a Dawkins reel which was as long...Ultimately even in his entire postseason career Dawkins didnt do as much as Rodney did in the playoffs just as a Patriot in 2 yrs, and Im not talking about winning rings because 1 player cant control that...Im talking about making game-changing plays against the best opposing players the NFL has to offer...Rodney did that, making playoff ints off Peyton Manning McNabb McNair a pick6 of Big Ben and he forced fumbles outta the hands of Reggie Wayne and M.Harrison during those games as well...He was an equal opportunity bully...He took on pull blocking guards and smashed his way thru or at least into them, they didnt pancake him and clear a path.

The Eagles are the World Champions. And the Dolphins haven't been to the Super Bowl since the 84-85 season, haven't been to the AFC title game since the 92-93 season, failed to produce a playoff victory since the 2000-01 campaign, and finished 6-10.
