Even with the side exhaust, I've never seen a single flame coming out during downshifts or upshift like the older 599XX

@@Adventure7Times it IS WELL ENGINEERED, maybe because of some kind of different exhaust setup, it doesn't spit flame even with that short pipe system (distance from cylinder to the outlet)

Also, the latest xx, the FXX K and EVO does spit flames during upshifts and throttle cut off

The exhaust probably has silencers, it is quieter than the older one as well. some tracks has decibel limits, so you would have to spec the car out to be able to race on that track. I have a Mazda RX-7, I race at mid Ohio and I can use a free-flowing exhaust. when I raced it at buttonwillow raceway, I had to silence it a little bit because of the decibel limit. So that means high flow cats, silencers and less flame.
