Very good, simple and detailed in both descriptions and explanations why it's done the way it's done. One item; fit a piece of clear tubing on the bleeder and you can capture and direct the bled fluid into a container. The easiest cleanup is the technique that makes the least mess to begin with.

Thank you for a really excellent video! I think both of the videos on replacing front brakes (this one another one on a 2015 Outback) are very professional and show exactly what is needed.

i stopped removing the caliber bracket decades ago. sliding the brake shoes off the back /front was enough. everything else can be done.

Are caliper bracket slider pins universal or standardized? Or are they make and model specific?
@junieontherun33113 жыл бұрын
I have a 2011 Subaru Outback…my slider pin was seized so I got it out ..now I can’t remember if it was on top or bottom…the one with the rings on it. Can you tell me the correct position for each wheel…

Hi Len! Thank you so much for showing so many great videos about Subaru outback! And actually, I have learned so much tips from your series videos! One question about removing tires @0:30.You loosen the lug nuts when the car is fully on the ground without any lifting?
@thebromies55732 жыл бұрын

Was that 85 ft/lbs for the 17mm caliper bolts?
@justinrodgers4834 Жыл бұрын
But how did you bleed the caliper alone?

88ft lbs for the 17mm is not the spec, its 59 ft lbs which would be 80 nm so not sure how you got 88 ftlbs? Otherwise very usefull video

Bro you put the rotors on the wrong sides. Your slots are supposed to slant to the back of the car. Smh🤦♂️🤦♂️
