Drain from the plug before removing the old oil filter to make less of a mess. Change the crush washer every time. Use a Honda oil filter (you own a Honda because of the quality, right?).

you’re dumb. honda doesent make filters. Honda filters are ok but a mobil one or kn filter is just as good

Never reuse a crush washer. You will get oil leaks at the plug even after overtightening the plug. Crush washer cost like 50 cents each or less.

Fram filters are the worst in independent test. Use a Wix or OEM Honda

Guess what? Fram made Honda filters with Honda stamping. Now Honeywell makes them because they bought Fram. Now what?
