Hello, Just wanted to THANK YOU so much for taking the time to explain the reset procedure for Toyota Highlander. We had a broken window on Driver's door. After getting the car back from the shops, on AUTO UP, the window would hit top track and bounce back down as if it hit and object, "Finger pinch" Both the body shop who worked on the car, and the glass shop did not know the part about taking the motor out of the regulator, to clear the "memory". They were just trying to do a reset by cycling window up and down. I followed your instructions, and NOW, with the new glass installed, the AUTO UP and Finger Pinch functions are working properly. Thanks again.

Normally on those vehicles the auto up and down function is controlled by the actual switch. You will either want to check the switch to make sure it is working or check the wiring. It could be possible that the vehicle might need to be reprogrammed for the auto down to work.

I went ahead and try to remove the door panel but there is some screw still somewhere in this assembly that I can't find. You mention a screw right behind the door handle area, (minute 2:02) mine does not have a screw there, other than the latch which I disconnected from the cables. Any advise?

On the website I only see the regulator + motor assembly available in the "without anti-pinch" option. If the car already had anti-pinch would it still have it if I installed the one you sell on the site? (assuming I follow the procedure to reset it)

Now what is the window is all the way and won't go down or up at all..then jow do I let the window all the way down so I can unscrew the bolts

How do I know if my car has the auto pinch sensor? Ordered a kit from you guys recently for a 2002 Camry LE, have not done the replacement yet. Or if I am just replacing the motor and regulator assembly all together, do I not need to worry about the auto pinch function?

If I start over how how I need to wait until the motor reset or can I start the reprogramming the motor over. I think I may have hit the down button first instead of up?

I replaced motor and regulator but I checked it before I button up everything. It ran fine but everything is in reverse up is down down is up. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Does the window have to be in the down position when you start?
