I go to 1500 grit paper then tape of the headlight and use 3m polishing compound and a buffer wheel. Same results. Works great 10-4

The special gel is just ordinary toothpaste and sandpaper. Start of with rough grit and - low number then onto finer grit 200..400.. 600 etc. the sanding down is the key! You probably can you any solvent to finish off.. even soda pop ..🤦🏻
