Congrats ! Clearing upper zone Z without any power-ups isn’t an easy task, it was nice to see you didn’t lose too many lives there. Having cleared one of the hardest routes the other ones won't feel as difficult if you decide to try them out. Imo Darius Gaiden never reaches the level of difficulty of Darius II because of the powerfull smart bombs and cheese strats with autofire (and even if you play without external auto Darius II is much harder), but G-Darius sure does on some sections. Even though Darius II is a punishing game it still allows for many mistakes for survival, but even if you play for no-miss, high score, or very hard mode there’s room for some errors : the more I play the more I realize this. You may have heard this but the default difficulty for this game was switched to the last minute, the og difficulty was what became to be easy difficulty (where you can fully power-up and access shield power-up in zone P)

Thanks! I don't think I will go for other Darius II routes. This is my least fav Darius for sure, but Right now I am trying to get 1cc in G-Darius ver.2. This one is sure harder than v1 and Darius II. I no missed Nu route (not recorded) and omicron (recorded) but version 2 is just harder in every way. Thanks for the trivia about difficulty setting. Lack of shield in P zone is a huge difficulty factor there.
