Note: How with photogammetry, landing sites are more easily identifiable, but ground heights and surrounding terrain may vary. Note the need to zoom right in on the tablet to identify and select the landing site.
Short conclusion: Winching
The H145, the additional variants, and the optional missions are a new and rapidly developing aspect of Hype's software. Updates to the H145 are developing rapidly. Having tested the simple 'land and transport casualty' already, I thought I would work with Roger here, and see what this looks like.
I am open to correction should anyone see anything lacking in my planning. I tested the Mountain Rescue mission in both Auto and Manual Hoist mode, and these worked flawlessly. In between I tested a Farmyard Accident Scene in Manual Hoist mode - but found that the crew had already taken to the ground, that whilst I could operate the hoist, there was no guidance for the positioning. There was also no request to begin Hoisting. I have not been able to test other HPG simple missions with hoisting. (eg Road Accident). I will test these out later.
Part 3 will look at the other missions (I can see that some of these are not working with the scenery packs installed), and I will also go back and look at other additional community mods, and planning/saving missions directly within the Hype Operations Centre Software.
This continues to be an excellent product, but do keep Roger warm. He clearly needs some skin cream to ease that chaffing around his harness. (Thanks for reading this far. Enjoy). I note that there are some KZbinr's produscing amazing footage using the drone, and story-telling - but my focus is on the nitty-gritty of making the systems work.
