I’m so glad I found your channel! My husband and I are getting ready to be stationed out there so we are watching all the videos to find the good beaches and fishing spots! I’ve always loved fishing and when we were stationed out in California my husband started doing some surf fishing. Then we were able to in Texas and Florida. But we are newbies with saltwater lol! Love that you and your wife are wholesome and not all of the foul language. As a child I never understood how my dad could watch fishing shows all day but…. 😂😂I get it now! We will continue watching for fishing tips! Also, very picky about the type of fish I eat but love Red fish if cooked right so hoping to gets some tips for cooking/baking/frying :) Congrats to you and your wife on your baby❤

Some fly fishing would be cool. Pier fishing is good as well. A bash meaning a “Party” with subscribers is an awesome idea.

Thanks so much for all the tutorials and catch clean cook style content on here! I have learned so much over the last few years (I think you had about 700 subs when I found you) . Being a land-bound earthling, I appreciate most your surf fishing tutorials but also wish you would consider doing small 1 or 2 person charters (I have no idea the legal/economic side of that). But CONGRATS on the baby! We have 7 now and trust me, your life is about to change😜.

Congrats guys! My son and I really bond through our time together on and off the water back home in Va Beach (my hometown) or in MD in the Bay where we live (his home state). Kinda cool we grew up on different parts of the same water (ocean and bay). He absolutely loves to fish and I hope and pray you guys get that same opportunity to share in your lives. Best of luck and keep up the great content.

Your videos have been a great refresher for someone who gave up the surf/pier fishing to raise two children. Keep it going as long as you can. Ive gotten back into the fishing game lately and enjoy every video you all put out. Congrats to you both. ❤

Congrats again for you three!!! I know the little is going to have a life on the water. It would be cool to see more vids of fishing (wading or boat) in Back Bay, Curituck sound, Albemarle sound and Pamlico sound.

If you keep getting small seabass. use a bigger hook, bait and sinker, as soon as you hit bottom reel up about 4-5 turns of the handle. The bigger ones will be up away from the crowd and safety of the bottom. The hits will be fewer but more explosive. Try it, I was taught this years ago.

I'm not against a fisherman keeping 1-2 Triggers if that's ALL that bites, but they're so crucial to reef ecosystems... They are awesome-tasting fish, but try to toss the urchin and starfish eaters back if you're getting them.
