Totally agree! I also think they are a little underrated gymnastics wise. They have some great athletes for sure, particularly on bars and floor

@@susanelliott8577 agree I wish they got more espn or national air time because Hannah and jadas 4 years and the rest of the roster since then have had underrated gymnasts

@@blackout2430 yeah I agree I think they can match the top teams gymnastics wise but just lack some of the hype and star power. They have some beautiful gymnasts and routines. You can tell even the commentators were a little frustrated with how they were being scored compared to UCLA. Not saying the scores are wrong but with all the fake 10s we see in NCAA seeing some of those bar routines go mid 9.8 seems a little bit inconsistent

I honestly think the judges at ASU take appropriate deductions. I was at this meet and it was nice to see UCLA not being over scored for things that would obviously score higher at Pauley. I believe ASU succeeds in spite of those "hype scores" for the perceived top tier teams, which is all the more impressive. Also, they gave out light up devil horns yesterday@@susanelliott8577

ASU on bars is so damn clean! Those legs together stuck DLO dismounts are fire! I feel like they are a little underscored compared to other teams honestly

I agree and their beam lineup also has excellent execution. The judges in this meet were absolutely cruel especially to ASU. Beam anchor (Emily White iirc) 9.85 for what even the commentators said was a flawless routine and should be at least 9.90?! If the team was Florida or Oklahoma, that would’ve been a 9.975 at least.

Emily deserved at LEAST a 9.90. that was gorgeous. idk what her start value was… but my goodness she did incredible.

I KNOW!!! Emily shoulda had 9.95 at least. What on earth was up with these judges?! Already with the vaults, there was serious underscoring. Kayla Lee’s beam 9.775? Please point out the deductions, judges. The best thing I can say of the judges is that they were almost as harsh with UCLA. Rosen 9.80 on beam and Andres 9.90? Those should have been switched. 9.2_ for Esparza is pretty high for a fall. Except for those two acrobatic elements not being done properly, the rest of her routine was clean. ASU has my favourite floor routines this year! 😍 Hope the senior night goes really well, and that they perform at their peak at Pac 12s! 🙏💜💛

Sucks to see UCLA like this but I need them to finish the season off strong! The future is looking good for them so right now they just need to keep pushing no matter what

I’m sad about todays meet but would rather have Selena rested plus Emma’s coming back in know and I can see the details we put in now we need to o put them all together and I strongly believe we can make nationals all love bruins. 💙💛

Liked the meet but really wish they would show the exhibition routines! They would show someone resting while they could have shown more routines :(

I was there in person and Andres went OOB! Not that it matters since it was a drop score but they totally missed it. Very clear foot over the line.

Sure it could. One of their gymnasts could’ve been injured. That would make things much worse. They also could’ve been judged as harshly as ASU was in this meet. Not to worry though. When UCLA has their top gymnasts back, they will improve a lot. Congrats to ASU! ❤

@@pedroh8915 She had some leg separation in her Maloney and judges reallyyy seem to hate when a gymnast cowboys' her legs in the tuck position.

@@tshimangadzomavhungu3563ASU could teach LSU a thing or two about what a double layout bars dismount should look like (I love LSU but it just hits different when you see the that dismount being done with legs together, an extra wow if you will)

Thank you for posting. However, I had to put it on mute when i saw Amanda Borden. I really thought she had shut her mouth during the floor routines but I was wrong. (sigh)
