5:09 I notice you're using the pen tool to add to the selection but you did not "right click and then select make selection" what shortcut did you use to create a selection with the pen tool?

I guessing he has added one for it as there's not one by default. alt+shift+ctrl+k will bring up the keybind panel to add your own.

learning from youtube is good but studying graphic and multimedia design is better to learn fundamentals of photoshop. because youtubers doesn't teach you the graphic design 101 which is very important if you want to learn the correct ways. nothing against with these youtubers. i know that they know about it. in fact, i'm grateful to the youtubers that upload these kinds of vids. i got good. i learned so much watching photomanipulatiion, phlearn, piximperfect, bennyproductions and phaserunner. because of these youtubers i'm ahead of my class.
