I've seen real life situations of the cloud inversion (your third sky example). Not all mountain tops are pointy, and it is not that uncommon to have a plateau top, or hanging valley above cloud level. I can remember walking on a flat plateau in beautiful sunshine, and have to step off onto a ridge that we couldn't see below the cloud. That took a leap of faith and was scary. As for sky perspective in our art, I take your point, and I am sure I have got it wrong as often as not. I routinely photograph interesting skies when out with my wee dog, and we have a lot of nice skies here in New Zealand. I'll be paying more attention to perspective in future.

I'm not a beginner. I've actually been designing for 15 years. Of course I'm still not as good as a lot of people, I never got "it" when it comes to photoshop but that colored lighting effect is something I never knew about. I've ALWAYS just done screen lighting with using blend if. I've never though about using exposure and then color adjustment on it for the lighting. I at least learned one thing! Now back to watching the rest of the video :)

Some really good tips. The first one is not always one i gave that much though. There's probably some angle issues in a few of my pics. I'm also glad the third tip was there. It's an issue that i often see in some artwork. On top of that, some tend to add this rimlight look all the way around a character, even though it doesn't match the light sources in the scene. Another tip i would add as well is that the intensity of the light in the scene also defines how bright it would be on the object/person. Along with how dark the shadows are. This is why many photographers don't like to take photos outside during cloudless, bright summer middays. The light gets too harsh and the shadows too dark

I recommend updating your perspective knowledge. Those white lines you draw have nothing to do with the perspective order and you place them there completely randomly. They cannot create a reference to the scaling name.
