If you're applying a large graphic and it's a little windy outside, it's easy for the vinyl to get out of hand, and you'll stretch it out of shape pulling it off if it needs to be repositioned. A very light mist of water (fine) will make the process go easier and save any disasters 👍🏼

Only a weeny bit... literally a few drops to 5ltrs. Anymore will be unnecessary, because the reduced amount of adhesive due to the holes you don't need much. Literally only a very fine mist on the glass only.
