Anakin Skywalker is one of the saddest characters in Star Wars. He wasn't ready to get over the death of his mother. He lost Padme and was full of fear, anger, sadness and had a broken heart. The Jedi didn't listen to his fears and didn't realised what was going on inside his head. He had to deal alone with his feelings. At least Anakin is just a person who was a victim of his own fear. The fear of loss. Luke was able to help him after years because he had something that only Padme had: A great ❤ and Anakin recognized this similarity between Luke and Padme. Everytime I watch Star Wars 2 and 3 I feel so sad for Anakin. Anakin/Vader was not the real villian. He was the villian's victim... Hayden Christensen did a GREAT, FANTASTIC and AWESOME job in his role as Anakin Skywalker. He played him PERFECTLY 💫.

That's not really true. It wasn't the love or ambition that killed Anakin Skywalker, but it was his desperation to save Padme from death, something he couldn't save his mother from. I suppose he just clung too tightly to Padme (both ironically and literally), Anakin suffocated her and himself.

Wow, this video is a thing of pure beauty. I loved the flashes and fades. Perfect pacing, and you kept it up throughout the entire song. This is a long song, and it take real talent to maintain that kind of energy with those rapid fades and brief clips throughout. I especially loved the climax with the lightsaber duel beginning at 4:15 . Simply amazing. This video deserves far more views than it's gotten.

He experienced the power of love for a woman who kept him grounded, fighting the unnatural Jedi way of having no emotions...all while being manipulated by the most powerful Sith Lord to ever exist. every one knows all the mistakes of the prequels but this shows the good in them. one {of many things} i would have changed is when he is burning alive instead of screaming "i hate you" i would have him scream "save her" or even "i did all this for her"

That would have been cheesy and make no sense, almost as cheesy as Padma's "breaking my heart" speech. Anakin while yes did it for her, his entire world, his priorities changed as soon as he became Darth Vader. "doing all this for her" makes no sense for someone who, without hesitation, killed hundreds of jedi, including kids. People he knew. He was dead set against killing obi wan even. And "doing this for her" includes choking her? No, Anakin may have set out to save her, but Darth Vader's anger, his rage was what drove him when he first changed. When he found out she died, THEN he truly understood what he had become, what he did. But the I hate you is perfect in that scene. The whole Obi wan/Anakin thing is one of a few (if not only) things they did right in ep 3. He had just gotten through with killing everyone in the jedi temple and the separatists in cold blood and choked the woman he loved out of anger, jealously, and suspicion. Throughout both ep 2 and 3 you hear Anakin whining about how Obi Wan holds him back, doesn't trust him. How he was a better jedi than obi wan. Yes they had that bond, they were like brothers. But that evaporated when he chose the dark side. The I hate you, especially with just being cut in half by him and having been proved wrong about his powers, it works perfectly for that moment. (sorry for the rant btw lol. I've just finished watching them all over again and renewed my obsession for them)

Oh of course lol! A villain is always a jerk and evil unless they are good looking, then they are just "Misunderstood". An anakin was a jerk, selfish about power and being special.
