Howd you get it to make the turbo noise? i have a gte in my gs300 and it does not make that noise at all

You need to block the blow off valve recirculation. This will disable the bov function and you will get the flutter.

Could be completely wrong but its all to do with the cylinder head and manifolds , Ive seen some 2JZ with 1JZ head swaps (mainly done to the non turbo blocks as a cheap way to get turbos on lol ) but yeah , all in the heads. Listen to a 4 valve pitbike vs a 2 valve to see how much head profiles can change sounds :)

I dont believe the stock 2jzge could make this sound without a turbo. The turbo makes a HUGE difference. The 1jz tone is very unique
