Sound of the clutch is normal, my Supra has a ORC twin plate it makes the same noise. My Evo had a ORC super single and it even made the same noise not being a twin plate.

The sound from the clutch is a failed release bearing, get a new release bearing and it should be good

Good job man, Loving the videos. got an ORC twin plate in my x100 and it is noisy! I've had a full gearbox refresh and it's just the clutch. on video, it sounds loud but best to judge it in person. mine scares a few people getting the comment "it sounds so broken" Keep up the good work!!

Clutch sounds fine, see if you can add some sound deadening to the tunnel/centre console. Take off the short shifter if you're finding it hard to get in gear. Bump up base idle to fix stalling issue.

'kinda sus...' plz have a tuner mechanic look into it, just to be secure.. it would be to bad if something happened to your manual gearbox since they are hard to come by. 😅 But keep em coming love the content, hope you do something about the "lesser attractive rims"! 😏

When I manual swapped my Soarer, I fixed the stalling issue by unplugging the TPS and raising the idle with the screw then plugging the TPS back in all while the cars running, should fix the problem!

Also maybe the ecu, unplug battery for 30 sec, drive a long time about 50 or so miles, turn engine off then start it again, should re-work the idle

Dude are you thinking of fixing up your lip soon? I've got a similar issue on my Mazda 6, where the spoiler has somewhat of a hole through it. It'd be great if you made a video on it so I could maybe use the same method on my car. Love the results as well man! Great success!

Fun fact: The chaser is most likely making a little bit more power now with the manual as there is less drivetrain loss compared to an automatic that has a torque converter that can rob a little bit of power

-.- Do you know how any kind of transmission works? Do you aware of that you just said a different transmission makes an engine's power output higher? I'm not going to explain nothing, it's just not how it works. (+ manual does not equal with a faster car. It gives you more control over the gears on a regular car and that's all. Even the difference on a car that came with manual and auto is basically 0. The 85 Corvette with auto is faster than with a manual used by a pro. Kimi was also faster with an Alfa using the automatic only while the other driver used the pedals. It only provides you more control, not more power and no more skill.) No offense, tho. Just don't say that a torque converter is robbing power.

@@moo8698 Actually you are incorrect. that car is only faster because it shifts faster than a manual and the ratios might be different. All auto transmissions have a little bit of slip thus why when you do a dyno comparison on a manual swapped car the manual car makes more power. i dont think you know anything about transmissions...

@@moo8698 I didn’t say it increases engine output, I said it has LESS DRIVETRAIN LOSS DUMBASS, If you knew anything you would know a torque converter is a fluid coupling that regardless of stall speed will have some level of slip, There is no slip in a manual unless the clutch is burnt out, hence why a manual has less drivetrain loss which then correlates to a little bit more power at the wheels given nothing else on the vehicle is changed

how did you find the r154? i went with a tr6060 conversion in mine from stock auto because i plan to run big power (400rwkw) and i heard the r154 wont be as reliable and i also heard the r154s are pretty crunchy and hard to quick shift
