The best part is that there's no water past the ledge on the Nikkyo Consortium boat, it's not on the water. So in the Shibusawa fight you just kicked him off of the ship and let him fall three storeys to the ground.

Majima's Thug counter is so damn stylish, just a shame it needs 3 bars of heat to do

And does shit damage, and uses like 1.25 heat bars, and turns your back and exposes you with a long ass animation, so it’s not great for groups. But if you use the Payback Ring and keep your health low it will nearly one-shot mooks. Also I guess Majima has the breaker elbow counter, demonfire, and two slugger counters so he’s not hurting in that department. But yeah, Thug deserves a no-heat counter that does decent damage. I guess it would be *too* good if it did though, now that I think about it.

I could probably no damage the final Climax Battle with Kiryu if I tried hard enough (or just cheesed Rush and Beast style), but with Majima, it’s almost impossible for me to not get hit against bosses like Shibusawa, Lao Gui, Sera, or that tank known as Kashiwagi.

Those Yakuza 3 movesets are fun in that game, horrible everywhere else, Amazing job on this 10 man slaughter! I knew about the Shibusawa boat heat action, but doing that without getting hit is quite tough, solid execution on that!

I just got this game a few months ago,completed the story 2 days ago and Holy cow. This is the most awesome experience I've had since devil may cry 5, God of war and tekken 7. Definitely gonna run it again on a higher difficulty.

I like Majima's gameplay more than Kiryu because all counters are satisfying to perform and because he's a lot more difficult to play as, than Kiryu. You can spam Breaker as Majima only on opponents who get knocked down. You can't spam breakers on dudes like Sera, Lao Gui, and even Mr. Shakedown. As for Kiryu, his Beast cheese has no limits. You can destroy anyone with no effort. Rush style is slow compared to Kiwami's Rush style, (its fast only in 3rd heat bar in y0), Brawler is also pretty slow, DoD style is also slow, fast only in 3rd heat mode. Kiryu's playstyle is a lot of fun with Quickchange clothes though. Overall, I love Majima more in Y0. And thank you very much.

It's cool that they made this. Just sucks that you gotta do some dumb things first though. Having to fight enemies while you're weak, no damage. A damn pain. And quick too for some. i think the game just treats them as normal enemies and not bosses when you're playing as majima as to block the qtes, which is what allows you to use the instant kill qte. i don't know though

How do people make Thug counter work? No matter how many different timings and spacings I tried on most attacks in the game, I can't seem to be able to activate it outside of its tutorial. Every other counter in the game works for me just fine.

The game made a mistake and wrote the incorrect inputs for the counter. The correct input is R1+O. (lock on + grab when enemy attacks). Only in 3rd heat bar.
