That I will never find peace on earth because of the sins (seeds) of my misspent past will keep bringing forth judgement? Thats not really prompting me to forgive those who hold grudges from my past, and are responsible today for fertilising and reharvesting what died with Christ on the cross. Is there no end to this?

Man, this is GOOD. I was at the gym on the elliptical and had a couple of epiphanies 😂. I told God that I needed to grow the heck UP. I'm gonna be 63 in a few days and long story short I wasn't parented well. I thought I had dealt with it but something happened a few years back and all of those unprocessed emotions literally exploded into horrible anxiety and health issues. I've been going through it! But here's the beautiful thing: the Lord said, "Look. You are NOT too old to let go of this stuff once and for all and CHANGE. All of the folks who hurt you are either dead and gone or they cut you loose a long time ago. You've done your part to recover those relationships. This is on YOU to let them ALL go and move on." But here's the really cool thing- God reminded me that my soul and spirit are immortal. They don't get old. The only thing about me that gets old is my body. So my spirit is on the same wavelength as God. If my soul and spirit can get into agreement, the Mind of Christ takes over. My body HAS to come into agreement for health and healing! Hope this helps somebody 🎉❤😊!

You explain the scriptures in plain language and with examples that are easy to understand; you have made me see God as the loving Father he is, not as the judging mean god religion portrays him to be. I am sure God loves the work you are doing and he has you in a special place in his heart. May God bless you, always.

The problem is, we sometimes we lose the vision of the ultimate price that was paid on our behalf, to free us from that which cost Jesus his life. So we then sometimes take sin too lightly and allow the rot to creep in. If we were reminded of the agony of both mind & body that Jesus set his face as a flint to go forward, to face the condemnation that was rightly ours. We must remember that our sins were abhorrent in Gods sight, so we must see our sin as a serious matter, as the cost to remove it was so great. Herein is the vastness of Gods love, the just for the unjust.

James 5:15 “And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
@connj678 ай бұрын
ok, that just made sense. Condemnation means "that's it. it's over. you're done. no future. death. the end." So, now in Christ Jesus, there's no "you're finished"!

When you said that God wasn't in control of everything it sounded pretty unbiblical. Maybe I am misunderstanding but it sounded as if you were saying God is not sovereign.
@tommyboy422 жыл бұрын
“Sovereign” - A supreme ruler. Supreme in power. In that sense He IS sovereign. However, a supreme ruler is not in “control” of his people. He has given authority over this planet and everything in it to his people.
@klgm632 жыл бұрын
How is it that you continue sinning and ask for forgiveness only to commit the same sin 5 minutes later? To say I am forgiven seems like cheap grace especially when you commit the same sin soon after. I condemn myself all day long, I'm tortured by it. I don't understand how we can just be forgiven over and over and over again only to then commit the same sins. It's wearing upon the soul.
@rookie43112 жыл бұрын
You can’t change alone. You need to ask God to help you break the cycle and if you are able to cut off ways that are tempting you then do it and pray. Continue to say and believe out loud that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. You are a child of God. Jesus paid for those sins and the guilt long before you came. Stop allowing Satan to condemn you and focus on guilt. Your guilt is not able to pay for your sins. Jesus did that and is the only acceptable sacrifice. Don’t give up and don’t give in. The Holy Spirit will convict you and lift you out of that. Satan wants to condemn and keep you feeling guilty. Don’t believe his lies. Trust and believe in the one whom God sent. Keep reading the word. Keep declaring God’s word as you have been given power and authority of the enemy. Keep doing good works and loving yourself unconditionally. Don’t beat yourself up anymore. Jesus loves you. Focus on Jesus and cry out to God for help. He will. Don’t give the devil a foothold. Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee.
