I am so glad to hear that you take communion in your church. It keeps reminding us of the matchless ministry of Christ on the cross. Most churches no longer have the unleavened bread and grape juice on Sundays. Some really ignorant people used to criticise me for taking communion in my home. I hope that one day they will discover what it really means.

The goal is to lead people to see the amazing goodness and the outrageous generous nature of Jesus. It produces the right things in us. Condemnation and accusations will never lead to great discipleship. This type of judgemental behaviour leads to fear, shame, reluctant and guilty disciples.

Pastor Dickow @ 14:37: " 'You better surrender everything . . . you better leave everything behind'. Jesus didn't preach that.' " Jesus Christ: "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple" (Luke 14:33). So we see clearly here that Pastor Dickow and Jesus Christ contradict each other. Pastor Dickow insists that Jesus did NOT preach that we need to leave everything in order to walk with Him. But Scripture clearly says that Jesus DID indeed preach that we need to leave everything in order to walk with Him. I like Pastor Dickow. I've even given hundreds of dollars into his ministry. But on this particular point he is dead wrong. In an attempt to bolster people's low self-esteem, pastors often make the mistake of preaching grace to the extreme or grace out of bounds. They unwittingly become what are called 'grace abusers.' Grace abuse is a very real (demonic) phenomenon that is taking over many of today's Christians. The recent scandals with the Hillsong churches is a viable case in point. God's grace is a very real and precious thing. But whenever we preach grace to the point where it contradicts what God's Word clearly says about sin, holiness, the price of true discipleship and the importance of renouncing worldliness, that is when we are in gross error, and inadvertently do incalculable damage to a Christian's walk with God. I'm not sure how Pastor Dickow doesn't see this in the Word.

@ Master Prophet. I agree with you 100%! I listened last night (28-12-2022) to about 24 minutes, but what he preached at about 14min was só upsetting to my spirit, that I could nót finish it (yet). I woke up just after 3am this morning end knew immediately that I have to bring a correcting message. I am so glad to have read your message and to witness that there are still Bereans who study the scriptures to see if what is preached, is in line with Gods Word. Jesus actually also told Peter that he will no longer be a fisher man but he will become a fisher of men! The miracle of the 153 fish was exactly thát! To demonstrate to the Deciples that He, the resurrected Jesus is also GOD and LORD over nature. Peter might of course have gathered from thís miracle that GOD will provide but he, Peter must leave the fishing business now once and for all to become a full time proclaimer of the Gospel. To follow Jesus means to 'count the cost' because it may cost you évery thing, even your life!
