Run BabyAGI with Langchain Agents (with Python Code)

BabyAGI with langchain is the best of the bot approaches so far. What i found: Trying to do research with GPT or AutoGPT is a waste of time. Forget that it is out of date. It's full of fake results with temperature 0. The only way to go is with langchain agents with GPT planning and management. Thanks from researchers in Goa to Lil' Coder 🙂

This Google collab notebook is so great because everything just works right away with no configuration issues. I have an old imac 2009 and it gives me grief on occasion. and then i've been trying codespaces but the vs code terminal gives me a weird cursor issue on my computer. so thank you!

to test this out would i need to run everything in the link you provided in my command prompt? like the pip install, imports, etc? or do i just run the cells on the browser?

you just run it in the colab doc, click the play button next to each piece of code and run them in order descending down the screen

since langchain can use zapier, is it possible to add a tool with Zappier Natural Language Actions besides "Search" and "TODO"? how could it be done? 🙏

After trying it out, I have 2 thoughts/questions: 1. Can you execute the last cell of the Jupyter Notebook several times in a row? But then how do you keep previous results on the screen? I know they must've been stored but the previous results wouldn't be visible anymore if you execute that last cell again... 2. As can be seen in cell with the tools[Tool(...)] , this BabyAGI only knows how to search and make a todo list. How can we add new capabilities from LangChain (since there are so many more available)? Wouldn't it drastically improve the results?

@@mak6969 lol. AI is founded on open source. The current goals other than alignment, AGI is getting models to the point where they all run locally on basic consumer hardware without all these subscription models.

@@mak6969 Seeking a process which doesn't consolidate & centralize power under OpenAI is a very valid "complaint"; I think it'd be worthwhile to modify this process to use a locally hosted AI instead, ex. GPT4All
