It would seem to me that his one "primitive" autonomous agent will likely end up acting as one small constituent part of a whole, much larger and more complex system. I'd have to say this does seem pretty brilliant in it's elegance. Just wanted to say I subscribed to your channel because your analysis of the recent developments in AI is top notch and your programming knowledge far exceeds my own. Keep up the good work.

Bro I have watched your videos for several days now, just want to say thank you and you have been a great role model for me. The way you test out different new models is really exciting and creative. I would not be who I am today without your tutorials lol

Instead of changing Hz on the cam as one of the commenters said to remove flickering, I would suggest buying different LED bulb since this flickering is still visible to your eyes but your brain does not perceive it. So if you often have headache or your eyes become too dry it most likely will be from it, and not from screen. And thanks for the content!

Please change the Hz setting of your webcam. 50/60/70 and that will stop the flickering you're seeing from your lights.

If I have specific modules defined in my code script, can autonomous agents use them to complete the tasks? Im still unclear on its capabilities

Can you run this on an entire applications code base? Or Auto GPT on an entire codebase, to identity, areas for improvement, violations of practices, areas where design patterns could be used, security enhancements, missing unit and integration tests. Then produce a plan for what changes should be made to the projects folder structure / code layout. Then produce a new project from the existing project. Then write unit tests and E2E tests which are then executed against the original and the new and adjust the new copy until both copies pass all the tests. Then repeat

Very cool. I don't know much about the frameworks, what is the reason for using Pinecone? I thought you use document storing/retrieval via embedding when you have a gazillion documents and want to find the ones most relevant to a query. But this code stores the results of tasks in Pinecone. Why, there are comparatively few tasks and task results, no? Wouldn't it be better to just store the task results directly as strings?

To continuously build on the stored knowledge based on vector based storage

The black box is good at storing it’s data as vectors which are inscrutable to us but allows this active task management scheme to communicate (god knows what) between instances of gpt4 buy pinecone stock imo

Neat, this seems like... a very very high level programming language. I certainly wouldn't call it AGI, but it's very cool and I hope to see this type of system developed further.
