Bought the Comfobuds Mini about a month ago (in part based on your recommendation) and I love them. I've ordered the EVOs (should be here on Saturday) to see if I, as a non-audiophile, can tell the difference. I may end up returning the EVOs if they aren't a huge huge improvement for me. Hey, so I'm questioning the longevity of these buds, I've had a couple pairs so far, and the volume on the left bud keeps going out, in that it becomes significantly quiter than the right. Resetting does not seem to help as well. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so were you able to fix it?

You're right the 1 More Evos comes so close to being amazing earbuds. I use the sound id and the bass is great but it doesn't sound that clear. So I use the customizable eq and I got them to have excellent clarity but I can't get the bass to sound as good as on sound id.

The latest firmware update for these earbuds has a new feature called smart loudness which compliments the EQ perfectly. So now I can get the sound id sound via the EQ as well. Finally these buds feel complete.

@@luisfilipesouza9687 I have set up my sound loudness between 50% and 75% and in my EQ pushed the mids up higher and the bass half of what I did with the mids. Didn't touch the highs as they are good out of the box and you wouldn't want them to be too harsh. They pretty beat my Sennheiser M TWS 3 hands down.

Hi Jeff, great review and I will try to run the sound ID test with different tracks. So far def like them and for the price with the early bird discount it's a winner for me. I tied the Liberty 3 Pro but the size of the bud and fit didn't work for me. These are more comfortable. One comparison I'd like to hear from you is this vs the Oppo Enco X2.

Totally agree with your comments on the Comply memory foam replacement buds, I upgraded my Tranya's with them and that was a huge upgrade. I try to like the 1More line but they keep dropping the ball on both touch options and lack of EQ. I tried their SoundID on the ComfoBuds Mini's and I just can't get the sound right and to be honest for most of the setup I couldn't even tell between A and B. Just give us a standard EQ option or some EQ pre-sets at the very least. For the price, maybe they're a good deal but I wouldn't replace my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro's for these.

Another great addition to the upper mid price range! The more people that buy these, L3Pro, etc so instead of stuff from Sony bose and apple the better imo. But I personally don't see a need to buy them unless they get a firmware update with better controls, an eq, or a gaming mode. Hi Jeff, I am still experimenting with these EVO's but I have to admit that it seems like they released these prematurely. I have been comparing them to my Jabra Elite 7 Pros and they are not really holding up. I also cannot get them to pair to my 2018 MacBook Air and iPhone at the same time. It is asking me to forget the device and re-pair. I think you mentioned this in the video. Sadly, my main 2 devices are my iPhone and my laptop. It is the ONLY reason I need multi-device pairing. Like I said, I think they rushed to market and have not really cared about the users experience. Maybe I am missing something here, but not a happy camper. Any thoughts on the subject? Have you spent anymore time with these?

If I could compare them I'd ask what are they like compared to the senheiser momentum 3 and or the akg n400. I'm trying to be deliberate in my choice and just wish I could try a set of good iem. If you can get the AKG for under $100 and you like balanced sound quality then they are a good choice. Otherwise, the Sennheiser are the way to go.

I pulled the plug on these @139.99 after watching numerous reviews. I have the LP3 which seems to be better just because of customization within the app. So I’m going to be patient with them and hope that 1 more comes with EQ customization and more tap settings!

I'd pretty much already settled on the Evos it's just that lack of adjustability in the app that puts me off a little (especially for a flagship model) but even so that seems to be the about only negative thing anyone has to say about them. Thank you so much for helping make my decision easier. 🙏

i just got mine. i finally got a pair of earbuds that im happy with the loudness. a little bummed there was a problem with my order so i had to order from amazon losing the wireless charger but im happy i returned the neobuds and got these instead edit- a great test song for these would be the lost battalion from Sabaton(it sounds so good with these buds)

very strange... 6.41 hors with ldac ? why my liberty 3 pro in ldac with hi-res music (Qobuz or amazon unlimited or my files 24 bit 96kHz 3000kbps ) reaches a maximum of 3 hours and 30 minutes without ANC and 2 hours and 45 mins with ANC (8 hours on aac no anc and 6.5 with anc) ?? ... in developers options the bitrate is set to adaptative or maximum to 990 kbps ? thanks. p.s. mics of l3p are a beast !

@@deykno87 sorry but your answer doesn't make sense, can you argue? I know they are different but I was wondering if in LDAC mode he actually used them with HD files or with MP3, and if the bitrate was on adaptive or maximum at 990kbps .... this is very, very different ...

1. Correct. 2. No idea. You should ask Soundcore directly. 3. Adaptive. Sometimes I switch it to 66o while I'm at my desk. 990 causes connection issues with most TWS if you move around too much. 4. I test with locally stored FLAC and WAV files as well as streaming hi-res lossless from Qobuz and Apple Music. I hope this helps!

Az60 is robotic in crowd noise with just my voice turned on
